Wanted F250 wheels
I am looking for the steel 16 X 8 Camper special wheels. I need 4 of them. Also would consider the 92 -96 Aluminum factory ford F 250 / F350 wheels that where made by Alcoa with the holes in them, they would be the 16 X7 's. These are for my new project , a 67 F250 2wd tow vehicle.
Thanks in advance,
Travis

camper special 8x6.5 rims would be 16.5" diameter. Ive got a set but shipping would probably kill the deal because these things are heavy.

Re: Wanted F250 wheels
Thanks George. The steel ones that I am really looking for came on the rear of the 69-72 camper specials, I am pretty sure they were 16 X 8's and were extra wide compared to the standard wheels. These things are tougher than I thought to track down. Do you guy's know of any good Ford truck boards that has a buy and sell forum?? I am really just going for the look and would like the plain jane approach, but it is looking more like I need to start leaning torward some aluminum ones. Stockton said $155 a peice for 16X7 or 16x8 and they would accept the 69 and up center wheel covers. Add shipping from California to Maryland into the mix and you see where I am going......
Thanks
Travis

Re: Wanted F250 wheels
There is FTE and FTF but you'll probably be banned for asking an intelligent question. Those places love questions like "how do install chrome door handle covers on my dads 09 F150."
I wouldnt be suprised if a simple set of aluminum aftermarket rims (like maybe the Mickey Thompson Classic 2s) were cheaper from a local dealer. Id bet these stock rims weigh 50lbs each and the shipping cost is going to add up. My dad paid $40 each to have some Kelsey Hayes rims shipped from CO to SC and those are no where near as heavy as what you are talking about.
Just a suggestion.
Another option is Tom at Flashback F100s in Reidsville, NC 336-421-3979
