460 rebuild questions

I have a stock 460. I have some parts I want to buy.... this is going in my 79 F150 4x4. I will bog and offroad some and drive on the street...want some good HP/TORQUE.

The H418CP pistons have coated skirts and a .240" deep oblong dish which will only get you about 8/1 compression ratio.
You DON'T want those...!

The H582CP pistons have the same skirt but, have only a .065" deep oblong dish which will get you about 9/1 compression ratio.
There is also the H612CP pistons with the same skirt and have a .189" deep oblong dish however, those have .020" more compression height so they will be closer to the block deck and yield about 8.8/1 compression ratio. They are from the F.I. engines and use a lower tension metric ring pack.
ALL of these pistons have production diameter intake notches.

Then there is the H535CP piston which has the same skirt but, is a flat-top with the higher compression height and will get you about 9.5 compression ratio. These also have larger intake valve notches to be able to use larger intake valves than production.

Idk what kind the rest of my pistons are......they are dished like that but I dont know..
