429 Rebuild questions Empty 429 Rebuild questions

Hey big blockers.  I'm new to the 429 and am looking to rebuild it more for knowledge but also to fix some leaks and stuff.  But my question is, I'm not looking to go fast but would like more torque.  What should I look at in those terms as far as rebuilding.  Any kits worth looking at? Again I'm new to this so go easy on me.  I can tell you that I have an HEI distributor, edelbrock intake and carb, D0VE heads and hooker headers. As far as the internals I couldn't tell you.  I am also looking at a Serpentine drive upgrade, Thoughts?  I don't want to spend a huge amount and I'm not looking for some Tanker style build but enough power to pull a few stumps and play in fields with.  Thanks for any help.

Find an OEM 460 crankshaft and get pistons to match ... the rods are the same.
Use the Poly-Vee type belt system from the latest model F.I. engines; (probably available from a wrecking yard).
