What is the perfect rod ratio? What is the formula to find it?

There is no PERFECT rod ratio. ..! Anything from 1.45/1 to 2.25/1 is commonly used.

Whatever length connecting rod will connect the crank to the piston while still maintaining the other more important parameters you want, is the NEEDED ratio.

Rod Length divided by the Stroke is the "rod ratio"

There is no perfect ratio. I prefer anything from 1.4 up to 1.8. NHRA prostocks are in the 1.67-1.75 area.
