timing question?

I have this posted at the other forum as well.... Im no guru when it comes to timing and cams and what not. When i degreed my cam in my engine i did it four times and all four times it came out to 115 instead of 114 on the cam card. So does this mean im already 1 degree retarded. The reason i ask is i installed the cam straight up and the car seems poky out of the hole. best 60 is a 1.29 in a 2650lb chassis with 33" tire a 4.11 gear and a powerglide 1.80 coming out at 4600...stall convertor is a 5700 which could be a little tight but from what i have been told not too far off if any. So my question is would it be safe to advance the timing two degrees and see what happens? Any other thoughts? thanks

The cam is 1* retarded. Advancing it will pick the bottem-middle power.
