Kentucky truck plant here I come.
Hey.
Got a call this after-noon, Looks like I'm headed to K.T.P. (SOON). 6.7L diesel program is required to have an on site rep at the Kentucky truck plant.
This may end up being a 2yr deal…?
Looking forward to this HUGE opportunity.... (and running my boat around the local lakes and rivers).
See you all in Kentucky real soon!
Adam

Adam,
Outstanding!!! Refresh my memory, will you be at the downtown plant or the one off of Gene Snyder?
Let me know if you need anything. I live just down the road in Shelbyville and Tracy works in Louisville.

Thanks Tom, that's what I figured. Downtown would be MUCH more congested.

Good question?
I have a million questions that will need to be answered before I say yes to this deal.
For example?
Isn't KTP Union? How does a salary guy work in a Union plant? (I have no problem with it, but the Union's do)~!~~
Once my 2 yrs or how ever long I'm there is up? ""will I" or ""can I" have my position back? I really don't want to lose my Product development career.
I need to write every question down and ask them when it comes time for the set down meeting!!!
I hope it all works out for the best, (for me and Ford). Kentucky is such a great place!!

Adam,
Definitely check on the circumstances first. I have a feeling that once you stay with us for a while, you won't want to leave

You said you will be a Rep. that has nothing to do with prduction, (assembly) so there should be no Union problem.

Since TVA turned LBL over to the Forest Division it has gone down hill big time, but I still love the place.
