Re: danny bee ....
belt drive for the bb ford has nothing to do with the crank , the dampner hub that slides over the crank is where it matters, depth of the hub is what you look into

I know there are BOSS and BBC snout options, not sure about the fit with the Danny Bee, but I doubt it would be an issue. The balancer or spacer for the appropriate crank is what matters.

Got to watch the snout dia. sizing, some stuff can be on the high side of the spec and some on the low. meaning some times balancers and parts may require a fitting or hone to fit properly.

Re: danny bee ....
I'm just curious as to if that works with a boss snout how one would use it on a stock snout, being the key ways are different...

"The correct dampner could be the main issue with the Boss9 short snout.'
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The key for the d. bee cam pulley is 3/16" just like a stock deal . Like I said........the dampner will be the issue......it will need to be keyed 3/16" not the 1/4" the stockers have.

What you want to look at is the OD of the damper when using a BOSS or 351C snout. With the small block hub it places the damper further back and the OD of the damper gets close to the idler stud. I like to use the ATI SB 6.375 diameter damper.
If you were using a BOSS snout with a chain and stock timing cover the larger 7.25 damper with a SB hub will clear everything just fine.
