MAX stock block STROKE????
Guy's just throwing a few things out there and was wondering what the MAX stroke a Factory DOVE block can handle? Ands what all needs to be done besides Main caps

MAX stroke will depend entirely upon the maintainance schedule which is employed.

Mike Lough has put 5" cranks in them, but with deck plates and sleeves, and his own custom girdle on the bottom to hold it all together. The most practical would be a 4.5" forged, but a 4.75" billet can be used with some clearancing.

The most affordable max stroke would be 4.6, Ohio crankshaft has them on the self now for $695 plus shipping.
