And also there is the point of the small tire thing..................anything n/a is gonna be hard as hell due to the fact even max effort it will be tough to get there and that's gonna be using every ounce of power through the whole pass.
Your gonna need to make way more power than is needed to run the numbers as your gonna have to kill it down low to make the tire work.
Big bore short stroke with a progressive nitrous system or even a turbo with a boost controller etc IMO is the ticket..and yes the Ford stuff can be competitive.

Yeah should have woke up a little more before that post. AT the time I was thinking can pull timing and fuel but it would never recover like a forced induction car I guess. Things sure did seem alot simpler back in 2000 when outlaw 10.5 was running 4.80's all day and we had a 632 chevy on 3 guns lol. I'm starting to look more into a A head with fogger. Still up for debated though

I don't know if the Thor's with their cavernous ports would work well on an engine with only 588ci.

Yeah still considering this set up. After seeing the 4.80's I don't have enough car for that. So thinking of picking up another car later in the year maybe. I will be home for good in December so I will be able to finish things up before next year. Right now though the plan is to just spray the crap out of my 545 I have now.

I like that plan. Dont let the guys at the big events times scare you. I think this class at the local level if you can do consistent 5.20's you will top of the heap.
