Proud Dad tonight. It gets better.

My daughter Sydnie won a medal at the local 4H archery competition. Out of about 50-60 kids per year only 2 or 3 recieve medals. The competion is two parts, a written test and actual shooting for score. I am very proud to know she did so well. You need to ace the written and shoot a 50 to get a medal, and that is with 6 arrows. The 10 ring is about 4" and shot from 10M at her age. The younger daughter is doing BB gun this year and will compete next saturday. If she shoots as well as she was tonight, she could get a medal too.

A big shout out to Doug for giving Sydnie an excellent bow to use. Thanks for passing it forward.

Cool deal Schmitty..Enjoy it while you got it.. My little girls are 28 & 32 now. Seems like yesterday they were little? Where's the time go ? Congrats Happy Pappy!!

Well her week got better. Yesterday she went to a math competition at a local college and came in 4th out of 80 kids from all over the state. I don't think there is any way she is the mail man's kid. Math and hitting bulls eyes are my strong suits.
