Need Holley Doms 9375 1050s
Looking for pair or even one rebuildable Holley 9375 1050s.
I know this is a Big Block forum but one of you may have a lead on some carbs.
In case you are not familar with my history-I am no stranger to Big Block Fords. I have run Mountain Motor A/R Kasse/Animal Jim Boss Hemis since 1984. And I still use a 700 inch one in my Zephyr when I match race Beswick.
Going back before my Pro Stock Cleveland days-as a Chicagoland Sportsman I raced Big Block 427 Fords and Mercs from 1963 to 1979. I had and still have low risers to Tunnel Ports.
I also have built many 385 BBF for clients. However I do build all other American brands also.
What I need the carbs for is:
I have re -created one of my Pro Stock Cleveland Engines -of many-I ran in the late 70s and early 80s for a customer. In fact the Roush iron heads with alum high port ex. and int. blades , Comp roller cam and Ikey modified tunnel ram are the actual parts I won the AHRA 82 Gateway Nationals with and led the world championship.
The .030 BRC slipper skirt pistons and Brooks alum windage rods are new. Same as I ran before going to Mountain Motors in 84. Those pieces were bought in 89 for a customer and never used. I used a fresh 4 bolt Boss block core and filled it. Then turned a nodular boss crank to .625 stroke with 2.100 Chev. journals. All is neutral balanced.
This 370" engine is going in a Hal Canode dragster chassis with a PA C4 trans. Should be interesting. I was running low 8s in 82 at 2590 lbs. in my Zephyr. This dragter should do 7s.easy.
To complete the project I need 2 rebuildable Holley 9375 Dominators. I will then modify them as I had in the days of small blocks. See: www.animaljimracing.com
Thanks for reading. Need any info on BBF just ask. AJ

Thanks for welcomes ya all
This looks like a friendly site. Thanks for all the welcomes.
Yes Randy, Those parts look very familar. I may have run against them in the late 70s.
The engine I am assembling looks much the same. I see Dynos intake had blades. Mine are in the heads. Do Dyno's heads have blades also? I could not tell from picture.
The rule was-and still is in my 2009 NHRA Rule Book: Blades or simular directional devises can only be in heads or intake-but not both. And with the heads only the intake entrance or exhaust. But not both.
Some of you may not know-I am a certified SFI tech inspector and work part time for RT. 66 Joliet Drag Strip. My SFI cert. # is 389S. I started doing it as a request from the Operations Manager of 66 at that time. 2004.
When the racing community heard Animal Jim was to be a tech official-it was joked around that it was like giving Jesse James a badge!
I raced in AHRA National events in Pro Stock with my Pinto at Dragway 42 in 76/77/78/79?, the Ozark AHRA NAts in Springfiels Mo., the Gateway Nats in St. Louis, Spring Nats Tulsa, Kansas City etc. Kaase was Dyno Don's crew chief then.
I did continue to race in AHRA with the Zephyr 80-84. Dyno did not.
In later years -89 to 96-I appeared for countless special event bookings with my Pro Mod cars. At several of these shows Dyno would also be booked to be doing what I do now. Nostalgia match races.
The last time I saw Dyno was 2002. I had sold my "Ballistic Bird" Pro Mod Super Coupe. Then as planned I did "The Resurrection Tour" of my fabled Mammoth Merc Zephyr-affectionatley nick named "Zeke". It was promoted as back to the fun 80s nostalgia match racing. Which is why I kept Zeke. I knew how popular that car was and still is.
In fact I just match raced Beswick and John Holmes Sat. night at the 56th. running of The World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova, IL. Place was packed. Fans were great
Anyway-I and Zeke were booked to match race Dicky Estervez and his Daddy Warbucks Bonner Clone Falcon. The event was The Ford Expo at Columbus, Ohio Labor Day weekend 2002. At that event they had Dyno's old cars on display and he was doing a "walk around". Not driving. There is a picture on my website www.animaljimracing.com of He and I shaking hands in front of Zeke-at that event. That is the last time I ever saw him. He and my old rival and friend Ronnie Sox are both gone now.
In 1976 & 1977 I ran the PRO (Profesional Racers Organization) Garlits had formed back then. Garlits got fed up with NHRA so he started his own Organization. It was for professional classes only.
In 76 at the PRO at Great Lakes, Wi. I was still a rookie in Pro Stock. At that event Dyno gave me a few driving tips. We ended up 7th. in a 16 car field. Dondero put an end to our week end in the second round. He was driving Grumps car then. I have a shot of Dondero & I coming off the line together with wheels in the air like Pro Stocks did back then. I should dig that photo out and put it on my website.

Jim these heads of Don's only have the directional plate in the top of the intake none in the heads. It still amazes me they flow really good for a small block head.. I miss Don he was a real nice gentleman, I still love watching you older racers. you were the grass roots of this sport....

Welcome, Jim. I'm sure you don't remember, but you and I talked on the phone several years ago about some dry sump parts you had. You were very nice to talk to, unlike some other "pro's" ! Wish you were closer, I'm going to need a chassis certification soon.
