Wow even the paint almost matches. Looks like you'll have a nice car when its done. I used to work in a salvage yard in college. We used to ship front clips like that out every night. There are a lot more cars running around that have been cut in half like that than you would think.

Holy crapper batman. That is way beyond my skill. Out of curiosity are you parting any of it out or are you using everything you have?

i have the front of the 07 left over.r/f corner is hit good but it's got a good 8800 mile 4.0&trans.i gave the dash to a friend so i wouldnt be tryen to use it in my 68 mustang project also may have the complete black leather interior too.another guy wants it for his 08 but he has to check his seats to see if they have bags in them.jasonf wrote:Holy crapper batman. That's what I call a project car right there. Paint's pretty close, but not quite.

Re: my new mustang!
i left the dash complete but i do have all the rest of the interior.the seats do not have air bags in them so they'd be nice in a project.jasonf wrote:cool40 wrote:.i gave the dash to a friend so i wouldnt be tryen to use it in my 68 mustang project :

Re: my new mustang!
My first car was like that. When I cut it up to put a chassis under it, I found a bead of weld on the A pillar, and a bead all the way across the floor behind the front seats. The back had Galaxie 500XL emblems, and the glove box said Galaxie 500. I drove this car for 20 years and didn't know till I took it apart. The front was red from the factory, and when I pulled out the trunk weather stripping, it was blue under there. So what do you call that, a Galaxie 500L ???

if you drove it 20yr's and didnt know it i'd call you a satisfied customer!an old guy told me a long time ago,it takes a wide eyed SOB to see both sides at the same time.he was cutting a fake seam in a mustang fender where the front valance had been welded onto it. it takes all kindscletus66 wrote:My first car was like that. Re: my new mustang!
i had to dig this up so i could update on the new/rebuilt mustang project.i would have had it together but when i picked it up from paint the first time i still had the interior out and had a little problem.the seats and seat belts had to be in so the srs system would'nt throw a code so.....the seat belt wasnt bolted to the floor and blew out the driver's window and beat the **** out of the quarter before i saw it.it's all good now! anybody need a 09 mustang?

I would LOVE to get the little 3 spoke knock offs for my Torino if they happen to have the FORD logo on them and not the mustang pony if they're available...
Other than that, excellent work! Wish I had those kind of skills and the space to do that sort of stuff.

What's a car like that worth? I wouldn't be afraid of something like that at all.
