well this deal really has nothing to do with money... I never expected to bring any big checks home. Its all about the road trip vacation with my truck, meeting a bunch of like minded people, catching up with old friends, making new friends, and the racing isn't bad either.

Gas prices were going up fast enough before because it looked like Washington wasn't paying attention - but now that A$$hole in the White House makes the remark " I see no reason why Americans can't pay $5.00 for a gallon of gasoline" - hows that for giving the "money grubbing oil barons" the green light?!?!? This SOB is really looking out for our best interests - yeah right!

Dan, I'm really blown away that you would consider doing that for me. I've made one pass in my friends falcon which runs 6's in the 1/8, its on 10.5 tires and has a transbrake. That was the only time I drove something faster than my truck with the exception of my crotch rocket, but it was a hell of a fun ride
I should have the truck ready by April so there shouldn't be a problem. I really have a problem being at the track and not participating so I guess we will see what happens. The idea of going a lot faster could be very dangerous for my wallet

Stranger things have happened. It does fit my schedule a little better than most times of the year, so we'll have to see what happens. Besides with Uncle Charlie having family business and couldn't get the T/S going this year, I'm missing my BBF brotherhood time for the year.

Well the time off is booked so hopefully everything will go as planned. Whooohoooo!!

Alredy 3.29+ here, freaking Arebs, wish the gov would price the wheat the same as gas, 3.30 a lb.

I have my hands full with racing just one class never could see how you manage to race both classes. I appreciate the offer. I guess I'm all out of excuses. I really enjoy the time and trip in the truck, but it would be great to talk everybody again and be a part of the bash!

Just paid $3.19 a gallon at the corner store, it was $3.39 across the street.

Cheapest around Saratoga Springs, New York (the Arctic circle according to my brother, Tom) is $3.51 a gallon! It cost me $73.00 to fill my Lightning up yesterday! $5.00 per gallon is right around the corner, thanks Obama - you've really brought change to America!

More like left change. That is about all we will have in our pockets by the time he's done with us. So much for Bush being the friend of the oil guys, I think Obama just left them the keys to the vault on a silver platter. I don't ever remember a president telling us what we could "afford" to pay for fuel.

We're both okay Harold. I was hoping it was in June again. I have something that I can't get out of at work, and since it's my Mom's 70th birthday this year, we are having a family get together for Mother's Day. It figures, because I wanted to try out my car with the C6 in it this year. I'm going to try a new valve body before I pull the transmission. I haven't driven the car since after Thanksgiving.
