My son totaled his car
My youngest boy totaled his car Saturday evening. Apparently the car in front of him locked up his brakes so John hit his and swerved to the right when he was rear ended and pushed into the car in front. He's pretty sore but thankfully there were no injuries.

Re: My son totaled his car
Glad that everyone was OK.
It will for sure give him lots of things to think about while driving. Like watching out a little extra for the "other guy" who is bound to mess up. After I got hit from behind about 35 years ago...I remember watching my rear view mirror a lot more.
wow... car is a mess

Re: My son totaled his car
All I can say is thank God for airbags and seat belts. I was looking at the car again today, what a mess, it's been a while since we've had one wrecked that bad at the shop. The guy that rear ended him had Progressive Insurance. They were supposed to come to the shop today to look at the car but called and said it could be a couple of days because they are still figuring liability. This could be a mess, there were 4 cars involved so there's going to be a lot of finger pointing

Glad he's ok.
My step daughter has a couple of yers yet but her pop wants to put her in a "smart" car right away. I say BS on that. BIG friggin' truck is what she's getting. Which would you rather be in during a wreck?

Re: My son totaled his car
Glad he is OK. My daughter recently got into some loose gravel from a driveway while she was going around a curve. She spun it out and ended up in the other side pointing towards home. Tweaked the front of her Fox Stang and knocked off the license plate, but she drove home OK. Scared the crap out of all of us !!!!!! We will probably worry about them till they are 50.........
