Sub frame connectors
I'm getting ready to put the sub frame connectors in my Fairmont. What should I use, 2X2, or 2X3 tubing? I'm looking at these for the convenience factor, they should be plenty long enough http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140525463470&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT or I can build my own if 2X3 is the way to go. What do you guys think?

2x3x.083....2x3x14gage is the way to go...for $235...I would make them myself..you might have $100 invested in 2x3 tube...if you can't find a supplier near you...last resort Summit Racing sells it...36.99/8' plus shipping

2x3 is the way to go. Make them yourself to save some cash and they will fit better as long as you take your time. Make them as long as possible and weld them up solid. Plan carefully and take your time.

Re: Sub frame connectors
Both 2x2x.083 or 2x3x.083 usually works fine in a lot of applications. Don't be surprised if some mild steel tubing sold as .083" sometimes really measures down around the .075" to .079" range, it's common.
