Just before the end of that video, I saw a man at the lower left of the screen running down to pull someone out as the water and debris was about to overtake them, and it looks like he got washed away! What a pity, such loss of life!

Yes it is.

If you look into the distance you can see folks going about their day driving down the road with no idea what they are headed into. The onlookers voices sound painful no matter what language you speak.

Just terrible.

Why is the news media so fixated on the reactors when this is what the real tragedy is. Thousands of people killed and missing and all they talk about is this huge nuclear meltdown that hasn't killed anyone as far as I know.

I absolutely agree the devastation in the video needs attention now...but as far as the power plant & the contamination... Don't forget that the long term effects of it can be hundreds of years to come Mad

Your right there Luke! The media just seems to have a hard-on for nuclear stuff in general. For all the hype NOT ONE person was killed or injured at Three Mile Island, but they sure made ot out to be a huge disaster!! Shocked
