Harold,I do think you are leaving alot of HP on the table by not doing some port work on those heads. jmo. especially the pockets

There is alot to be had with some minor porting and a good valve job........

The Blue thunder heads are almost like the Aluminum SCJ's as far as bowl work and flow gained.

You need to have the bowls worked and a good complimentary valve job done to boot.

Be money well spent.

They have a new 3 angle valve job, everything in, and for the heads is brand new,the guy was suppose to clean the bowls, whether he did or not is another question.

Harold, Please reference the Project Cheap Skate thread and read about valve jobs and the gains that can be had with a proper one over the BS that's out in the world. I picked up 20+ cfm compaired to the "3 angle valve job"........ Please stop being so damn stuborn.

the DD's have the "special" valve job...................



threee angle valve jobs work great with 3/4 cams...................

Dave, I didn't know I was being stubborn, I don't know how this got to this point, I was making a joke with Blake, I wasn't asking anyone for any info, the heads have been ready to install on the motor, they have all new valves, and everything else is new, I don't need a valve job, I might need the bowls cleaned, I don't know, but this all started with a joke to Blake, beside s I can't afford the port jobs I was quoted on this site.

It's all good Harold, me and DA Snake's gonna see what you need and take care of it. I don't think Dave ment anything by what he said,just trying too help.

I've heard of a place you can get your heads ported for X amount of $$$ and you can come back in a year or so and get them done again for some more $$$$ Turn loose of the $$$$$ tightass!!!
