Can the edelbrock performer sb ford head spring seat be cut deeper for taller springs without running into trouble?I am asking for a freind of mine.
I told him if anyone knew it would be one of you on this site.thx for any help with this information.
ps:springs will be 1.90 installed height, 1.550 dia.

Can you just get longer valves for the SBF? Then you won't have cut the spring seats.

Yes we have discussed longer valves and will go that rte if its the only or best way.thx

Thats the install height the new springs comp sent him require and the retainers they sent change height even more for some reason.thx
