Wait for the lite weight.
Was talking with my guy at ELIMINATOR the udder day. Seems that LSM finally has all the kinks worked out of the block lightening program. First article lost 65 pounds! off a PREMIER block...net weight 205 pounds with NO structural weakening. No word on the cost yet, pics as soon as I can gettum.

So if you bored it to 4.6 or 4.7 you could probably lose another 40 or 50#.
Re: Wait for the lite weight.
That's pretty good. I ought to look into writing a program for the A460 block.

You're right Chuck. If my math is correct and using and online calculator that can convert the known volume of cast iron to weight, it comes out to 20.488 lbs. for 8 cylinders. That would put a 4.7 bored block around 185#. Not to bad!
