Jon you need the bugal header that one killing your tq with alky just something I learned when I was running the race kart I had.The strieght header worked alright but I could tell the different when a guy at work talked me in to putting on one of his bugal headers.It put alittle back pressure on it and helped burn the alky better.

Hell if it will push the little car down the track it will be good enough for now lol. If she really gets into it I'll pick up a few knick knacs for it and go from there, if not I'll be able to get my money back out out pretty easy.


Its a tiller motor I got from the father in law, I put a billet rod in it, .010 over piston, .283 lift comp cam, did some oil mods, bigger valve springs, advanced the time 6* and drilled some holes in the carb out lol. I think I have 300 bucks total in the little motor, should be enough for the kid................

HeRo tune is gonna put a smile on the kids face for sure.

Looks and sounds like a cool little project Is this going in a junior dragster or a shifter kart of some sort?

A buddy has one for his kid. He started out with a pretty stock deal, got sick of messing with the gas carb and got out the drills and did the alky conversion in the pits!! Now he has a full on deal, not one Briggs part on it. Worth over $5K!!

richter69, remember RED locktite is your friend , We ran 2 JR dragsters for 9 years !! they'll humble your tuning ability!! fun ,but you'll be pulling your hair out at times!!at the end are Blockzilla blocks were more weld than original block!! Them motors at 10,000 rpm have the durability of a potatoe chip!!! and the clutches like to mind play games with you !!!

I hear ya Frank, I used damn near a whole bottle of red on every bolt, the tank to carb screws despite the locktite have already vibrated loose...............
