Re: HELP WITH OIL PRESSURE
make sure the pick gasket didn't slip on it when installing could be sucking air and make the pressure low and make sure all the plugs are in had that happen on a 302 years back

I'm thinking that the bars are towards the outside of the block ,won't have time to check today youngest is graduating. Sometimes it's better to do things yourself then to have friends help,I do appreicate all of their help and it was a lot more fun to drink with after

pull your diz and pump the oil with a drill.like you did before you started it i hope,if it floods the rockers then i'd say pull the intake.dave d wrote:I'm thinking that the bars are towards the outside of the block ,won't have time to check today youngest is graduating. Re: HELP WITH OIL PRESSURE
Well took the intake off, lifters were in backwards that problem solved running about 30 lbs oil pressure, smoking like crazy out of exhaust number 1 and 3 plugs oil soaked.Getting alot of blowby out of breathers, going to try evac system hopefully that will help.Might be a day or two before I get back to it just spent weekend in hospital with chest pains feel like a damn pin cushion

Re: HELP WITH OIL PRESSURE
I'd figure out why it has all the blowby rather than putting a evac on it............
