Gents.

What company sells AN fittings that are un-anodized?
Just raw aluminum, for personal anodizing.

thanks

Don't know of anybody that sells'em naked but, any anodizing shop can bleach the color out and then redo'em in your choice.

You are right. I just called a local shop here in Dearborn mi.
Now I'll just buy up a bunch of used but "good" fittings and have them re-done in the color I want.

Why is it a "industry" standard RED/BLUE...?

I wan't all red!!!

Earl's Performance sells some that have the raw aluminum "look" but, I think it is actually a clear anodize. I believe they are less money than the Aeroquip stuff...which is good if you are gonna' have them stripped anyway. They sell a black anodize as well.

JIC's and AN fitting are the same thing AN's are aluminum whereas the JIC's are steel(heavier if that matters). i used the JIC's on my truck to save a few dollars and I can stop in the parker store and pick them up when I need them no waiing on mail order stuff.

as Lightning said they sure are compatible. My prices are not the same as yours. I'm north of the border
But i know you dont come out of the store with a handfull of fittings and be a couple hundred dollars lighter in your wallet like you are with AN fittings.

A-N Fittings and JIC fittings are not the same. A-N are 35 Dreg. and JIC are 37 Dreg. they'll both seal when tigtened down but the A-N fitting well take a set when tigtened to tight. they get a flat ridge in the taper from the mismatch of the tapers.

I know I missed up a bunch of them.
