Awesome. With that mph I am sure you can get mid 10s out of it. Weird seeing the steering wheel on that side......

Love the SV-1, ran it as it came straight from Patrick.

Nice pass. I've followed your car for a long time on 460ford. That's a lot of mph for the et too. What stall is the converter? Im sure some juice will pick up a ton out of the hole. I can't wait to build motor like that to move my 4100 truck

Was more happier with the MPH than the E/T. Still running a 3000 stall built for my 460. This run was done on a back up pump, my old holley blue, as I was having pressure probs with my Magnafuel.

A quick update.
Just ran a new PB of 10.82 @ 120mph. Slow mph as it was during eliminations and I backed off the throttle for a win.
Here is a video from the drag meet (it's a long one). I ran in a small bracket with friends of a mate who passed away last year for a trophy in his honour. His car was being run by a close friend who bought it from the family, it's the Gold 1967 Falcon GT, 347ci windsor with a Procharger and jerico 4spd.
Big Block Fords that featured were,
Orange Falcon GT Coupe 545ci N/A (mine)
Light Blue Falcon Coupe 429ci with NOS
Red Falcon 4door 557ci N/A

Been back to the track(unfortunately only once a year) and attacked things a little differently this time. Ran set up straight from the street as I cruise on the weekends(air cleaner, full exhaust, street radials). Ran 10.86@126 and won the final of the bracket.

Hard to say. I put them on (they were sitting in a mates shed doing nothing) and set them up as per instructions and went racing. Car seemed to launch the same as it did with previous set up. Aussie Falcon GT's came with factory radius rods which were giving similar lift/traction.Dave C. wrote:How do you like the CalTracs ?
I didn't have time to make any adjustments, and I haven't run the car with only springs alone.
This is with the radius rods.

Thanks pro64. The cam does a good job, haven't had any other roller before. Car sees more cruising and day trips than the track and performs well on the street. Originally had 3.5:1 gears but cruising revs were a bit low so now runs smoother with 3.89's.pro64 wrote:hey nice car sounds great . i was wondering if your still running that same camxr 292,if so how do you like it.
10.91 falcon
i have installed that cam in my present build,502 p51 heads 1150 dominator . dropping that in a 64 comet. will be used mostly on the street so what your telling me sounds like good streetability and good track too judging by your 10.91 at 3900 lbs. im thinking im going to be around 3400 lbs that should get me closer to my goal uv a 9.90 streetcar. any way enough of my yapping peace....

I keep an eye on the roller lifters and will soon have another set to do change overs with in between rebuilds.

Pro64, I'd be surprised if you didn't like the XR292R . It works nice
