crankcase pressure
my engine (sbf) has excessive crankcase pressure. I have ordered a moroso pump Etc.
my question is Does excessive pressure have an effect on oil pressure? Is the pressure caused my high compression or un seated rings?
I am replacing the rings with total seal gapless as well.

Re: crankcase pressure
A vacuum pump is a good idea but its not a fix for leaky rings. I'd stay away from the gapless stuff.
Warm up the engine and do a leakdown test..............

Re: crankcase pressure
I would just re-hone the cylinders and change the rings. I never use gapless stuff either.
