Is there a comparable plug to the AR132 that might be a better option?

no problems, it's just time to replace them, so I was wondering if there was a better plug.

I've had good results with the AR series plugs.

I switched to the NGK's and with the help of the 18mm to 14mm plug adapters from Garret Machine, it opens you up to a whole range of readily available heat ranges in the more common 14mm flat washer style plugs. Very Happy

I use a lot of those permanent adapters in the Ford FE heads. They really work very well.
Uses washered, 3/4" reach, 5/8" hex plugs which have a whole lot of options.
