I just wonder how ugly a dome would be that would service a 100 cc chamber...and give large comp. ratio?

I do not see much flow while the valves are in that BIG plunge cut.
Blake...I am not picking on the pistons design......just what a guy has to do to get big compression.

The STOCK PRODUCTION dome on an L88 Chevrolet piston is 48 cc's.
The intake valve and hindered airflow are only in that piston dome pocket from about 10 degrees BTDC to about 20 degrees ATDC; all below .250" of opening valve lift.

A Big Block Chevy can get a bit more than 15/1 compression with a 598 however, it WILL usually make more power with only slightly over 14/1 compression ratio. Can you guess why...? LOL

That's a really good head at a good price however, BUY the titanium intake valve option.
