Milan Dragway - Speed's Hit Show "Pass Time" Pre Sale tickets
Milan, Michigan – “PASS TIME” (SPEED Channel’s hit television series) is coming to Milan Dragway to shoot new episodes for its 9th season! The exciting interactive game show will be taping on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 9th-11th, 2011. There will be 10 episodes shot over the three days with 10 cars being picked per episode. That’s a total of 100 racers chosen from those in attendance. Racers and spectators can buy pre sale tickets at a discount. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, August 26th at 12:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at the track or by phone (734-439-7368). This event will be open to the public, so all Milan Dragway fans are invited to be a part of the live action. Admission will be $15 per day whether you are a racer or a fan. Advance sales prices will be $10 per day for racers and fans. Kids 12 and under are free. Order your tickets early for the savings and to secure a spot at the televised event. Plan to come in and stay on the grounds for the entire weekend. Each night will end with a giant bon fire and party in the pits!

“PASS TIME” is currently SPEED Channel’s first-ever game show and airs daily. “So much of the enjoyment at the track is derived from guessing just how fast these cars will run the quarter mile down the drag strip”, Speed Programming Vice President Robert Ecker says. “This phenomenon lends itself to a traditional game show format that is both fun to play and fun to watch, bringing every smoke filled burnout directly into the viewer’s living room”.

The show’s premise is simple…..”Name the time, win the cash, it’s that easy”. Drivers tell three contestants about their car. Host Brett Wagner allows each contestant to ask the driver one question only. Based on that information, contestants “lock in their times” before the driver makes a pass. The contestant whose guess is closest to the actual time wins cash. The player with the most cash at the end of the game wins. But there’s a twist. Players must compete against “PASS TIME” resident automotive expert, Kenneth Herring. “It’s a game show for gear-heads that’s fun for the whole family”, says HFE Motorsports Producer Ray Iddings. “We’re really hoping fans turn out to be a part of the live action in Milan. Having an enthusiastic crowd on hand adds so much great energy to the show”.

Schedule and Event Info:

Advance sales begin Friday, August 26th at 12:00pm. By phone (734-439-7368) or at the track.

Ticket prices: At gate is $15 per day for racer or spectator.

Advance ticket prices: $10 per day for racer or spectator.

Gates open at 10:00am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. At Noon daily members of the “PASS TIME” crew will begin roaming the pits as they scout for the most impressionable cars, trucks and bikes to stage the show. The earlier you can make it, the better your chances are of being selected – although selections will be all the way through the afternoon. Filming will not begin until dusk.

Racers: 100 cars will be selected to be part of the show. Let’s show them what Detroit has to offer the show. Be sure to be a part of the event by purchasing in advance.

Ok let’s do this Motor City style for the “PASS TIME” gang. Bring your cars, bring your friends, be prepared to stay for the weekend and make this an epic show for SPEED. Remember “This is the Motor City and this is what we do”.
