Someone correct me if my memory is wrong, but is the Ford blueprint pinion offset for the 9" @ .970" ?
Re: Pinion Offset

Re: Pinion Offset
I would like to know what the "Ford" number is, but all my reverse engineering I did when I built this billet rearend housing showed .960" and that's what I used. I will add that the hole pattern for the 9" is all over the place. There is nothing symetrical or even about it. It makes no sense. I had to measure several different center sections and then just "SWAG" it, lol.

Thanks! I think I remember reading it a while back on Yellow Bullet that someone had the Ford blueprints and .970 is sticking in my aging brain.
