Schoenfeld upright header question Empty Schoenfeld upright header question

I want to add a set of uprights to my mud drag truck. The engine is a fully ported big valve D3 headed 12 to 1 507 with a comp solid 239/244 615/619. I currently run the L&L's with 1 3/4 primary's and 3" collectors. Here is wording from the ad.
THIS IS A NEW SET OF SCHOENFELD HEADERS, THEY ARE 2" 1/8 PRIMARY TUBES AND A 4" COLLECTOR THESE SIZES ARE PERFECT FOR ENGINES MAKING 600 HP AND UP ....IF YOUR MAKING LESS THAN 600 HP YOU NEED THE SET WITH 2" PRIMARY PIPE.... THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE 2" 1/8 SET. I am making close to 600 HP but have always heard smaller tubes help in the torque department, What would you fellas recommend?

Are these BBC flange? I didn't think Schoenfeld made BBF flange over 2".

Not much difference going from a 2" to a 2 1/8. But your L&L's are 1 3/4 and going to a 2 1/8. That might make a difference. Most of the mud trucks I've seen use a smaller diameter primary and are the zoomie style.

The 2 1/8" primary headers work great on my 466 with ported D-3's! The one thing I found was that since the flange is better suited for the larger SCJ opening, you need an adapter of sorts. The roof of the D3's port won't give enough meat to keep the gastket in place reliably if you try to port match them to the headers. I got a set of 3/8" thick Hedman blanks, port /gasket matchet my heads to that, then beveled the flange to the larger header collector. You can sort of see the spacer flange in this pic:
