Header question
I would like to put TFS Power Port 325 heads on my new ATK 460 short block in my 1971 Mach 1.
My concern is the heads say they require a Cobra Jet header.
I already have a pair of Hooker Headers, #6115, N.I.B. that were in the trunk when I finally brought it home.
I'd really like to use these since they have 1.875" tuned primary going into 3.50" collectors.
I cannot however find out if they are going to fit the exhaust ports correctly.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! !
Oh... also, is there an aftermarket dual-quad, non-tunnel ram manifold available for this engine?
Thanks in advance

Re: Header question
Put a header gasket up to the head and scribe the outline. Then put it up to the header flange and do the same. Compare the two to see if it will cover/seal the port opening. CJ ports are usually taller and have a gap at the top of the port when a standard header flange is used. Im not sure about the Hooker Headers, but some headers I have seen will have a tall flange that will work on both style of heads.
As for the low boy dual 4 intake, I think Blue Thunder made a batch of them, but finding one is tricky. Not sure about other manufacturers.

Thanks BBF Torino
I will try that.
I do know that the previous engine in the car was a ford motorsports aluminum headed 460 crate motor.
Not sure if these headers were ever bolted to it or not.

Pro Crap does too but there is no runner length, it's just a big open plenum.
