Re: Aluminum Radiator
Don't know the dimensions but it's the Griffin Aluminum Radiator for the Fox Body but with the larger inlet and outlet for the BBF.

31x19 el cheapo speedway motors circle track radiator. 2 rows of 1" tubes. Cools the 545 good. On a 180 t-stat, with the a/c on and 100 degree temps the water temp will climb some but it has never gotten over 200 degrees.

Re: Aluminum Radiator
Jason, I am running a Summit fox body rad. It measures 24.5x18x2.25, two rows of tubes. With a 185* stat it stays right at 185 no matter what I do. I run a 7 blade mechanical Flex-a-Lite fan / shroud.
I was told the Summit rads are made by Be-Cool FWIW.

Re: Aluminum Radiator
I guess the horse power your making matters the most. I thought Be-Cool had HP ratings on their rads, but I can't find it right now

Re: Aluminum Radiator
I think it depends alot more on C/R than HP. High c/r engines are alot harder too keep cool. JMO

Re: Aluminum Radiator
I've been running a Summit radiator, universal, I think 27 or 28 inch width, along with a mid-90s Taurus 2-spd fan. Car stays cool as a cucumber. I can't fathom why Be-Cool and the other brands can get so much $..
Re: Aluminum Radiator
I can get any of these if you are interested. I have a couple of friends that use them and have had no trouble at all. I also have a couple of circle track guys using them on dirt and have not had any trouble.

Re: Aluminum Radiator
For that size you will have to have a Scirocco style. Most of the time these are more expensive. I would give Griffin a call and see what they can make for you.

Ofcourse this is at the race track only. I have Two 12" fans hooked to a thermostat that kicks on at 180 and off at 170-ish. In the heat, it's never been over 200 and typically hovers around 190 with Meizer pump.
