Getting faster

Made to track for the second time, car did a lot better with throttle linkage fixed. Made motor passes only. It went a best of 9.67@141mph. The car has 3.50 gear, 29.5 10.5 tire. For car set up for heavy nitrous I was exited about the performance on motor. Left @ 3600 shifted @ 6400 went through the traps @ 5900. Lenny told me the conveter would make it would be a slug on motor, so the future looks good.

Chuck you going to tnt next weekend at SGMP or you going to tnt any more this year I might try to carry mine next weekend if the weather permits.

My girls have a softball ternimate next weekend. Hope to use my I/S 2 stage plate on the 17th. If I shifted @ 6700 I could have made to the 1/8 in 1st gear.

we have a comp 292 cam, first of the year I'm calling Lem to get a real cam. Left off the 2 step @ 3600 it flash to 4200. This thing is locked down, my goal is 175hp on each stage. I think Ican turn some good numbers. Just glad to be back racing.

Thanks Bruno, I need some up dated pics. It's mini tubbed with hole shot sun flares now. The stance is alot better.

House of color/ brandy wine. The motor is a 13.1 547, SCJ heads by C Evans, Lem and Bob built the motor. It needs a bigger cam, the cam choice was mine @ the time. Wish I wouild have listen to Lem!

Hey Chuck, glad to see you made some hits at the track man. Looks like I'm going to be the last man standing (forever project) from all the old timers on the site! If that mustang went mid 9's on motor, that thing is going to run some AWESOME numbers on the juice!!! Keep up the great work man and I hope to see you at the next bash.
