Starting over
Decided to start over. After having all my good body parts stolen and seeing all the rust repair that was required after sand blasting the shell I decided to look for a different body. I looked at some Mustangs and some 2-door Fairmonts but they weren't what I was looking for, I really wanted a wagon. I don't know if you guy's know this but finding a Fairmont wagon, let alone a clean one is pretty tough, there aren't a lot of them out there. After searching Craigslist I found one in Oregon, a low dough, no option, non running V-8 car. The guy was great to work with, especially being 1700 miles away. He sent me lots of photos and after looking them over we agreed on $350 for the car. Then the fun and the shock started, it costs a lot to ship a non running car from the middle of no where Oregon to Minnesota, but $1200 later and two different transport company's it arrived last night. I can't believe how clean this thing is, I was dreading working on the old one but I'm looking forward working on this one. It looks like my giant pile of parts will finally become a car. Once I get things squared away in the garage and my boys show me how to post pictures I'll get some on here.

Re: Starting over
I'll have some pics up soon. I do bodywork for a living and I was NOT looking forward to all that rust repair. I scored with this one, nothing better than starting with a nice, clean piece, it was money well spent and the best part is the car is cleaner than I expected.
