T-case speedo gear hole cover
Maybe someone here or possibly Lem can help me out with this.
I need the little plate that covers the speedometer gear hole in a BW t-case. My local junk yards dont have any late 80s-mid 90s 4wd trucks and my local Ford dealership is full of idiots. This would have to be from a truck that originally came with a VSS tone ring in the rear end.
Im using it on my 205 case but the bolt up is all the same.
Anyone have a junk case or one of these little plates laying around? Lem, any idea if you can get one new?

The transfer I had like that several years ago had a cup plug(freeze plug) drove in it. I have also used a regular drive insert with the cable cut off

You still searching for a plug to fit your hole? Figured Paul would have taken care of that for ya.

Surprisingly (in a non-homosexual way) he did. Theres a cover on the case he busted in Rausch Creek.
I like the idea of the freeze plug better though.
Did you ever take some pics of the crossmember for me?

Not yet. I gotta go "un-wrap" it from the storage cucoon it's in so I can get the pic for you. If you can wait a few months, I'll have a clear shot when I cut the floor pan out.

I'll be ready. Just spending much time learning at the machine shop and getting ready to do some "heart surgery"
