C6 speedo gear

I have a 1970 Torino SCJ with a C6. Can anyone tell me how many teeth are on the speedo gear on the output shaft ?

you'll have to count them , could be 6-7-8 or 9

I have the same question as trying to sort out speedo. I was under the impression it was either 6 or 7 that is machined into the output shaft on the C6.

If that is the case will have to inspect before ordering a replacement gear to fix the speed.

Do you know is it possible to look at the current speedo gear on the cable and tell how many teeth on the output shaft then ?
