It's winter-time around here. IMO it's time for a little get together, and the food will be good. We'll try to have something on the dyno Friday for the early arrivals, likewise I hope to have some racecars on display. Maybe Randy Moore can bring that award winning paint job car of his.

Randy, please accept my apologies. When you typed that, I realized I hadn't yet paid for my shirts and I told Becca a LOOOONG time ago I would. I forgot a didn't make it to the bash so it slipped my mind. I'll be paying for them at the seminar Embarassed

This is what we have as of now. For those wishing to stay in Owensboro KY, call the Hampton Inn (270)926-2006 and ask for the "special group rate" for the Tech Seminar of $95. Also, ask for the 10% off coupons for the Texas Roadhouse when you check in. This motel is within walking distance of the Roadhouse. I'd suggest you ask for a room on the front side, it's quieter.

For those wishing to stay in Madisonville KY, I have contacted the Comfort Inn. It is the newest and nicest hotel. The number is(270)825-3535. I have talked to the assistant manager and told her about the Tech Seminar, however the manager has not gotten back with me yet. The Comfort Inn, the Best Western and the Days Inn are all side by side there at exit 44 of the Pennyrile Parkway.

That rate is on the hotel's website as well. Shouldn't be any trouble booking it.

Okay guys,

Updates.

1. The Comfort Inn (270)825-3535 in Madisonville KY has given us a special room rate of $75. Call and ask Priti for the group rate for the "Racers Tech Seminar". Again the date of the seminar is Jan 14th at Don Bowles's shop on Hwy 862, aka Lenin Lane and Bowles Place. We will be in building 645A.

2. For those of you driving a pick-up, and IF you can do this, bring a long folding table for lunch and/or displays. Also, bring a folding lawn chair for your butt. We are "short" of tables and chairs, so it will be appreciated.

3. Add Lake Speed Jr. from Joe Gibbs Oil, to our list of quest speakers.

Guys/gals,

I'll be driving from Tulsa, OK to the BBF Tech Seminar. I'll be leaving out early Friday morning to arrive before supper time or Thursday and make a leisurely drive out of it. If somebody is along the route (non-smoker or can make the drive without 'smoke breaks'), I'll drop by and pick you up. Just to make sure I'm clear...you'll need your own food money, hotel room, ect...unless you're cute!
