First big block.
Hi, I have been lurking here for a while now trying to pick up some knowledge on 460s.
I traded the turbocharged 5.0 out of my daily driver('79 coupe), for a complete 460 set up for a fox mustang. The 460 threw a rod, but I got a lot of good stuff with the motor. I got the motor with TRW L2334 domed pistons(one was damaged when the rod let go), Ported D3 heads with 2.25 and 1.7x" valves, Launati 41607 cam, matching lifters and valve springs, motor plate, 2" long tube headers, MDS distributor, Motorsports single plane intake, 850 double pumper, and some other little bits. The guy is supposed to give me the aftermarket K-member that was in the car too. He said he was running 10.80s with this setup, I would be real happy with that.
I plan on running a C-4 with a brake that I already have, the car has a 9" with 3.50 gears, Detroit locker, ladder bars, and 390/45 r15 drag radials. I had a turbocharged 351 in this car, I took it out to simplify things with the big block, plus it will sound bad ass.
I look forward to learning a bunch here. Feel free to make any constructive comments on my combo. Thanks.

When I try to download pics from my computer I get the message that I have zero free space available.

It says "max file size per file = 0 mb" after I select a file to down load.
Is photobucket the only way to post pics here? I really dont like photobucket because I always seem to come across pics that have been removed when searching for stuff.
