ring gap
i have a 545 with probe pistons in with a 300 shot on it what ring gap would be normal for something like this. the rings will be hellfire

Use whatever the ring mfr recommends.

With 2618 Forged aluminum material and NITROUS you're looking at about .007" per inch of bore for the top ring.
The second ring is typical at .005" per inch of bore; (the same as without nitrous).
The extra heat of using nitrous will make the top ring grow more and both will be about the same end-gap when running.

I'm no where close to .031 lol......but then again I didn't gap them with ever the idea it would have a whiff of spray on it either.............next time around they will be wider I promise.

OR, run it on the RICH side to keep the excessive heat down, LOL. Power increase suffers a bit though.
