Got them running.. reversed rotation engines
Hi,
We are having a couple of busy months behind us but made the first passes with the 2 engines that are modified to a reversed rotation now.
Modified class ended up with a 3th place.
In the unlimited we busted our rearend at the end of the pass and pushed the shaft out of one of the blower snouts.
Here is a link to our youtube channel with 6 new video's. Onboard also included.

How can I delete a double topic and move it to the General discusion????
Re: Got them running.. reversed rotation engines
I think Bruno is the only one that can move a thread. PM him. You could re-post in General Discussion and he can delete the doubles later!

Congratulations Frank, It looks like you all are doing very well. I'm sure that switching them to reverse rotation involved several difficulties.

It looks like the torque steer is gone; if that is what you were trying to accomplish; you certainly did a great job.

That on board video is amazing, all the engines at full song together.....damn cool!

I've always wondered about the transmission setup on one of those rigs, do you have any pics of what one of those things looks like without all the other goodies on there?

I have been to many tractor pulls over the years and I have seen some really wild set ups . Thanks for best ride that someone could ever ask for ! I love the multi engine unlimited class of pulling !
Those 2 pulls couldn't have been any straighter than that ! No frame twist there at all ! Looks to be set up just fine with the reverse rotation .
I wish you the very best on your pulling season this year !
