Gas ported 4.530 diamond pistons Empty Gas ported 4.530 diamond pistons

I havent asked diamond but, why does my gas ported pistons have the holes on the sides instead of the top of the pistons? They are for aheads and have .043,.043, 3/16 ring lands.

Because someone ordered them with lateral gas porting.
