lets compare intakes!
i've got the long runner,old style,intake on my 526 with a hat on alky.i also have a short runner tfs i could try so whats your thoughts? now it has killer tq and 60' foots good but it is done @ 7000,real done @7200.i'm shifting at 6800.

put single 4 and single throttle body back on with that relic nx plate you have your gonna need it lol.

The short runner manifold will tune about 600/800 RPM higher ... whether or not that will relate to more RPM with your combination is what you should address. How would the shorter runner intake interface with your camshaft, valve train and headers is the real question which needs to get answered.
