Trying out some edelbrock valve cover gaskets
I was on the phone with jegs and remembered needing some vc gaskets for the comet .So ordered a set .They are really thick 5/16 I dont think the stock length bolts would work with these .Someone with valve train to valve cover clearance problems these would help .They are made of a fiberous material and are stiff .They fit really well .Somehow though I believe i would be happier with the cometics that Mr. Evans sells .The price was about $36 for the edels.Doug

Valve cover Gaskets
I tried a set on my build with Edelbrock Heads , They soaked up alot of oil and started leaking and Seperating . Changed them out to the rubber ones no issues since . I didn't like them but that's Just my Opinion.
