Valve cover Gaskets
I have used The SCE thick Cork/Laminate gaskets for several years. I went Onto SCE web site and noticed that they now offer a steel center over rubber type
gasket. Has anyone tried these compared to the Cork/Laminate?? Its for my N/A 521.
All opinions welcome

Have you thought about cometic? Mine are around 3 years old and still work great.

Honestly,
I was not aware that they even were available for BBF. Looking up their catalog for part number now.

I got mine from Lem a few years ago. I check valve lash religiously and they keep on working.

C5205-125 is what is in the Cometic catalog.
C5205-188 is what I stock.......thicker...3/16" vs 1/8".

Re: Valve cover Gaskets
So here's is a question? Do these need any prep? Spray on high Tach or do they just go on dry????
