C6 governor info
Are all C6 governors the same? I have a good C6 out of a 79 4X4 that got some water on it, the governor is toast, rusted so bad I'm positive it can't be reused. Would it be OK to use one off of a C6 out of a 69 Lincoln? I just started tearing the Lincoln tranny down and it looks like new inside.
Also, In case the water ruined other parts inside the 4x4 tranny, all the other parts will interchange except for the output shaft correct?
Thanks,
Dave S.

Thanks Frank, this Lincoln tranny has the C7/C8 valvebody you use for the trans brake, if you make some this fall, I may have you build me one, I plan on building a mud racer for next year. Will you put me on your waiting list please?
