Total seal support rail
My rails and instructions were in a pack together and were file fitted along with rings. I didnt get my instructions for rail assembly or gap and dot position back. Do i need to call total seal or can it be simply explained to me here?
Thanks
Thanks

I never had to gap my rails. Just make sure they are positioned correct as the ring instruction sheet says. W/Total seal just make sure they are the correct ones

yep,i know what you talking about.i just put some on today and did'nt do anything to them, just put them on.mine had a dot or more like a punch mark on them that goes in the pin hole area with the bump turned down.tconnection wrote:Maybe im calling these thing by the wrong name. Im not talking about the oil rings. This rail here goes under the bottom oil ring. The ring instructions dont have any info about them.

Oh, which pin hole, front or back? When you said bump, are you talking about the dot?

Re: Total seal support rail
its a bump, like you hit it with a punch and hammer.it should go in the wrist pin hole with the "dent"down so it wont push up on your oil ring.thats how mine are......some may work other ways make sure you know before you put it together. that "dent"would be to keep it from turning in the boretconnection wrote:Oh, which pin hole, front or back?
