Dodged a couple bullets this afternoon........

My daughter was in the passenger side of this Ranger this afternoon. My nephew was driving and said the throttle stuck, and he blew a stop sign and got struck by another car. They were both very lucky, but Marc, my nephew was VERY lucky, as his head almost completely penetrated the windshield, as he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. My daughter said she thinks she had hers on, couldn't remember taking it off after they came to rest... At this point it really doesn't matter... What matters is the Lord above definitely had a watchful eye on them this afternoon, and both were released from the hospital with no major injuries, and are home tonight with their families... "Praise be to God"

Thanks guys. Darian's doing better, and although she was treated and released from the hospital, she can only walk with the aid of a walker or a cane. I have a doctor's appt. tomorrow for a work comp claim I have from when 300# of flywheels fell on me at work when 2 shelves collapsed. Anyway, I'll take her with me and have the doc check her out too... Here's a pic of the bruise she got from the armrest on the door:


That's only one of them. You can see the one on her hamstring, and she has several on her shins and upper leg.
Like I said. I'm just thankful that it wasn't worse than it was...

dang, thats a nasty bruise. keep an eye out for any signs of blood clotting.

Dang man! That's a nasty bruise. I'm glad are gonna be okay,could've been a whole lot worse I guess. Trucks can be replaced,babies can't.
