Fuel injecting my 385 series
Has anyone on here used a distributor like this "MSD Ignition 8452 - MSD Pro-Billet EFI Distributors" and tuned a 385 series with a Moates Quarterhorse Tuner using a stock Foxbody or SN-95 harness and computer? This is my next project and I have already acquired a distributor "brand new" from a friend for free and already have the tuner, wiring harness, and computer. Any thoughts or experiences?

Re: Fuel injecting my 385 series
I would use the newer sn-95 computer (TM40 or J4J1) for this over the older fox stuff (A9L, A9P, A9S California, or cobra X3Z which is a detuned version of the others). I would think it would work fine if you can either change the injector firing order due to that computer being sequential or you can just reroute the wires in the harness for cylinders 3-7-5-4. the firing order swap is easy in the cap but the injectors need to follow suit to make the best power. if you can set the computer up bank to bank with that system then you wouldnt have to change much except the wires on the distributer for the firing order difference. but i dont have experience with that tuner
