C6 clutch clearances???

I am putting my trans back together with Merkl brake vb and Rcode servo with billet E lever, I had been setting forward clearances at. 062" and direct at. 072" but was warping clutchs and steels with a TCI manual reverse vb so this go around I set forward at .049" and direct at .051" reverse is at .050 (no issues with them). Does this sound good?

The reverse high clutch stock settings with three clutches is .022 to .036 so on the high side of this with 5 clutchs I would put it at .050 to .060.

The stock forward clutch pack settings are .021 to .046 with 4 clutches and on the high side of this with 5 clutches .058 so I would put these at .048 to .060.

I agree w this ^^^^, could even go a bit tighter on the forward............seems for a 6 disc fwd in 4r100 I go .035-.040, and w 8 in the direct I go like .040....................but thats a low rpm diesel deal.

set the direct at .012-.013" per clutch

I talked with Mark on the phone earlier and the clearances are all good. All clearances range from .049-.051". This trans has red altos in all clutch packs including reverse (I know overill but...). The clutches and steels in reverse looked like the day I put them in so they went back in.
