I'm looking for tire info for drag racing my truck.

looking to 1/8 mile drag my mud truck. looking for advice on what tires to use(size)... 600 hp big block with the rearend spooled. 3.50 gears , C6, truck weights 4800lbs.

Running that anemic gearing you need the shortest tire you can find.

id prob run something about 26-27 tall... I have 411's and a 29 on mine

I agree with the above posts. If you have a bit shorter gear, swap it out. Otherwise, find yourself a short tire to make those 3.50's work better. I currently run a 4.88 gear with a 33" tire...

The math I did says a C6 with a 2.46 low and 3.5 gear is the same as a 4.88 gear and a glide with a 1.76 low, and a 1.46 second X 3.5 is the same as a glide in 2nd. So I'd run a 30-32" tire and just use first and second in the trans.

Might work on dirt where you can get some wheel speed, but on pavement it will be a total dog at his weight

the 3.50 gear isn't a deal breaker imo...but putting a shorter tire on it will definitely make it work better.

A little more input would be great. I run 16 in rims. what size tires?
