Good lawd that's a cheap set of aluminum racin heads...they can be used for a stock replacement type head. The hardware is Junk, the exhaust port design is suspect at best, they will absolutely cost you more money in the end. If its in a stock type rebuild fine, if your trying to make over 500 -550 hp you will want to look elsewhere.

You'll be money ahead if you just go ahead and buy a set of Ford SCJA's or SCJB's

I have all kinds of flow numbers on them but, IF you gotta know flow numbers ... these heads are not for you.
The castings are good quality and they have their place however, THEY ARE NOT RACE HEADS.

Don't let the squawking in this post run you off.................. The pro Comp heads are a controversial piece on this board.
Some on some other boards have bought them and made some outlandish claims which are unfounded. The heads are a good for a street car for mild hp (no better than a nice ported set of stock heads) less weight on the front of your vehicle.
The castings are nice they flow a tick under 300 cfm with a bowl blend with out of the box assembled head. But they come with sub standard parts, guides too tight, just a bunch of problems you have to check before installing on the engine. They are best bought bare and built to suit with quality parts and good machine work.
I have ported several and gotten them to around 370 cfm intake and 235 on the exhaust. Swapped out a set of 320 cfm doves on a friends car and it ran the same after tuning. A ton of money spent and no performance gained. (even with 70 lbs lost on the total weight of the car)
Just make sure what you want and need out of a set of aluminum heads before you buy Pro Comps.

Re: procomp bb
Mid tens at 3000 lb. the best bang would be a set of bowl blended Doves, mid 9's a set of SCJ Motorsport heads would be the economical ticket. ect. Just let us know what you have on your mind.

Your best bet will be a set of SCJ Motorsport heads bowl blended with 14:1 compression and a well matched engine combo.
Low nines will take a fair amount of hp......... 800 min if you are a chassis guru, 850 + if your so so on chassis knowledge,
900 if its your first goat roping....................

The procomp stuff is not a good choice for your goals.
Like Blake has suggested, the Ford Racing SCJ A or B's (Kasses design) or even a set of Kasse P-51's are a great choice if you have a little more money.
If you looking for a Nostalgic look (IE factory look) the Blue Thunder Ford Exhaust Port heads will look the part. and can be made to perform very good too. The ends of the heads are shaped like factory iron heads.

Re: procomp bb
Thats a damn tough question to answer. They are both good parts.
The BT stuff does offer a BBC Exhaust port and various chamber sizes.
The TFS heads are a little smaller ports and would be a better choice for a smaller motor IMO.
They can both can be very good performers in the right porter's hands when modified.
For me if I was doing a nostalgic PS car and wanted it to close to period correct, I'd use the BT heads. But if your not worried about looking correct I'd be using P-51's or if your a little light on $$$ then the Ford Kaase SCJ's

Re: procomp bb
For nostalgia Pro Stock ...
As Dave said, if you want the "look" then use the Blue Thunder's with raised CJ exhaust ports; they won't be inexpensive however, if performance is your goal then I personally would use P-51's; no question.
SCJ's from FRPP are probably the best "bang for the buck".

Re: procomp bb
SCJs or the P51s would be the best bang for the buck. I went with the P51s just due to them being "ported as cast" out of the box and not needing any other work. I figure I could run them as is for now and when I step up in cubes I'll send them out to get worked on.
